What we do

The universe visits you. This planetarium on wheels will give a chance to people of all age groups to interact with the planets, stars, galaxies and other objects in our universe. The mobile planetarium enables students to venture into the space and travel several light years into the cosmos without so much as moving a foot. A planetarium helps students grasp abstract astronomical concepts and can spark interest and enjoyment in science.

Science On a Sphere (SOS) is a room sized, global display system that uses computers and video projectors to display planetary data onto a 5 foot diameter sphere, analogous to a giant animated globe. Its an educational tool to help illustrate Earth System science to people of all ages. Animated images of atmospheric storms, climate change, and ocean temperature can be shown on the sphere, which is used to explain what are sometimes complex environmental processes, in a way that is simultaneously intuitive and captivating.

The Astropark will be a theme park with stargazing facilities, equipped with typical Indian and western astronomical instruments from the ancient times to the modern period, the Astropark provides a convenient stargazing park with recreational, educational and astronomical facilities for the benefit, use and enjoyment of the public and amateur star lovers. The Astropark is divided into 3 zones: Educational Zone for day-time use, Naked-eye Observation Area for casual users and Telescopic Observation Area for amateur astronomers.
